Acceptable Use
Rules and responsibilities governing use of Speakori’s websites, applications, educational platform, and related services.
Last Updated: July 15, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (“Policy”) explains the rules for using the websites, applications, educational platform, audio features, artificial-intelligence features, content, and related services provided by Speakori LLC (“Speakori,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) (collectively, the “Services”).
This Policy forms part of Speakori’s Terms & Conditions. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to follow this Policy. This Policy applies to your conduct, content you submit, output you receive, attempts to engage in prohibited conduct, and assistance you provide to another person engaging in prohibited conduct.
1. Lawful Use
You may not use the Services to violate applicable law or another person’s rights. Prohibited uses include:
- Committing, facilitating, promoting, or concealing fraud or another unlawful act;
- Infringing or misappropriating intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, confidentiality, or other legal rights;
- Threatening, harassing, stalking, defaming, exploiting, discriminating against, or harming another person;
- Creating, uploading, distributing, or requesting unlawful or malicious material; or
- Avoiding legal, professional, licensing, ethical, or regulatory obligations that apply to you.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Services is lawful and appropriate for your role and jurisdiction.
2. Educational Use and Professional Responsibility
Speakori is an educational platform for practicing Spanish communication in professional settings.
Speakori is not a law firm, does not act as your attorney, and does not establish an attorney-client relationship. Speakori does not provide legal advice, certified translations, professional interpretation, licensure, accreditation, continuing-education credit, or professional certification.
You may use the Services for professional learning and may apply skills learned through the Services, subject to your own professional judgment, qualifications, and responsibilities.
You may not:
- Treat an exercise, example, translation, recommendation, score, feedback item, or other output as authoritative legal or professional guidance;
- Use the Services as the sole basis for a legal filing, deadline, strategy, eligibility decision, client instruction, official translation, or other decision that may materially affect another person;
- Present Speakori content or output as legal advice, a certified translation, or a professionally verified interpretation;
- Represent participation, completion, scores, or feedback as a license, accreditation, certification, or independent verification of professional competence;
- Impersonate an attorney, accredited representative, certified interpreter, or other licensed or qualified professional; or
- Use the Services to perform work outside the authority, license, training, supervision, or professional role that applies to you.
Material from the Services should be reviewed for accuracy and suitability by a properly qualified person before it is used in a legal, client-facing, or other high-impact context.
3. Personal, Client, Case, and Confidential Information
Do not submit real client files, privileged communications, case records, government identification numbers, financial information, medical information, immigration histories, account credentials, or other sensitive or regulated information unless Speakori has expressly provided a feature and written terms authorizing that type of submission.
When practicing with the Services, use fictional, anonymized, or appropriately de-identified information whenever possible.
You may submit information only when you have all rights, permissions, consents, and legal authority required to do so.
You may not use the Services to expose, discover, collect, profile, monitor, or distribute another person’s private or sensitive information without authorization.
This section does not prohibit information that Speakori specifically requests to create or administer your account, process a transaction, or provide a clearly identified feature, as described in Speakori’s Privacy Policy.
4. Audio, Voice, and Recording
You may record or submit your own voice for authorized learning activities. Speakori may use automated speech recognition, speech-to-text, pronunciation analysis, and related technologies to process authorized recordings.
Automated transcripts and pronunciation feedback may contain errors and must not be treated as certified transcripts, professional interpretations, or independently verified assessments.
You may record, upload, or otherwise submit another person’s voice only when you have obtained all consent and legal authority required for that use.
You may not use the Services to:
- Secretly or unlawfully record another person;
- Upload or use another person’s voice without authorization;
- Clone, imitate, or manipulate a voice in a manner intended to deceive, defraud, harass, or cause harm;
- Misrepresent synthetic or altered audio as an authentic statement by another person; or
- Bypass a consent, verification, recording, or safety control.
Your acceptance of this Policy does not provide consent from any third party whom you record or whose voice you submit.
5. AI-Assisted Content and Automated Feedback
Speakori may use artificial intelligence and other automated technologies to assist in preparing educational content and to provide speech recognition, translations, examples, pronunciation analysis, feedback, or automated evaluations.
Speakori does not provide live AI legal advice or AI-generated legal case decisions.
Customer-facing educational lessons may be reviewed before publication. This does not mean that every personalized transcript, translation, feedback item, pronunciation result, or other automated output is reviewed by a person before you receive it.
Translations, examples, transcripts, feedback, pronunciation results, and automated evaluations may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for a particular person or matter.
You are responsible for obtaining appropriate human review before relying on, sharing, or applying such material in a professional, legal, client-facing, or other high-impact context.
You may not:
- Present generated output as independently verified by Speakori when it has not been verified;
- Present generated output as human-created when doing so would deceive another person or violate applicable law or professional duties;
- Use generated output to make an unreviewed decision about a person’s legal rights, immigration status, access to services, employment, education, or another high-impact matter;
- Circumvent safety measures or attempt to cause the Services to produce prohibited material; or
- Use the Services to provide tailored legal advice without appropriate involvement and review by a qualified professional.
6. Speakori Content and Intellectual Property
A subscription permits authorized use of the Services for learning. It does not permit you to copy, extract, publish, distribute, sell, license, or commercially exploit Speakori’s curriculum, exercises, recordings, software, designs, databases, instructional systems, or other proprietary material except as expressly permitted by Speakori in writing.
You may not:
- Scrape, crawl, index, harvest, or systematically download content or data from the Services;
- Reproduce or distribute a substantial portion of the curriculum;
- Use Speakori materials to build a competing course, product, dataset, or service;
- Use Speakori content, data, or output to train, fine-tune, test, evaluate, or improve an artificial-intelligence or machine-learning model without written permission;
- Remove or alter copyright, trademark, attribution, or proprietary notices;
- Frame, mirror, or republish a material part of the Services; or
- Sell, sublicense, rent, or transfer access to the Services.
This section does not prohibit ordinary personal study, reasonable note-taking, or other use expressly permitted by Speakori’s Terms & Conditions or a separate written agreement.
7. Eligibility, Accounts, and Subscription Abuse
The Services are intended only for users who are at least 18 years old.
You may not create or use an account if you are under 18, and you may not permit a minor to access or use your account.
You may not:
- Share account credentials or allow another person to use an individual account;
- Access or attempt to access another user’s account;
- Provide false registration, identity, eligibility, or payment information;
- Create multiple accounts to evade restrictions, obtain repeated promotions, avoid payment, or bypass enforcement;
- Resell or transfer an account or paid access;
- Circumvent subscription limits, paywalls, rate limits, usage limits, or access controls; or
- Use a payment method without authorization or engage in fraudulent payment or chargeback activity.
You are responsible for activity conducted through your account and must promptly report suspected unauthorized access.
8. Security and Service Integrity
You may not:
- Gain or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services, accounts, systems, networks, source code, models, prompts, or nonpublic information;
- Probe, scan, or test a vulnerability without Speakori’s prior written permission;
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to discover underlying components of the Services, except to the limited extent applicable law does not permit that restriction;
- Introduce malware, malicious code, or harmful files;
- Interfere with, overload, disrupt, degrade, or impair the Services or another user’s access;
- Use bots, scripts, browser automation, or other automated means to access the Services without written permission; or
- Circumvent authentication, security, moderation, monitoring, or protective measures.
Good-faith security concerns should be reported to security@speakori.com.
Reports may address suspected vulnerabilities, unauthorized access, compromised accounts, malware, or serious platform misuse. You must not publicly disclose or exploit a concern in a manner that increases risk.
9. User Content and Third-Party Rights
You are responsible for text, recordings, responses, files, feedback, and other material you submit through the Services (“User Content”).
You may submit User Content only when you have the rights and permissions needed for Speakori and its service providers to process it as described in the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.
User Content may not:
- Violate this Policy or applicable law;
- Infringe another person’s intellectual-property or proprietary rights;
- Reveal confidential, privileged, private, or sensitive information without authorization;
- Contain malware or malicious instructions; or
- Be fraudulent, deceptive, threatening, harassing, exploitative, or intended to cause harm.
10. Enforcement and Appeals
Speakori may investigate suspected violations of this Policy.
Where reasonably necessary and permitted by law, Speakori may:
- Remove or restrict content;
- Limit features;
- Suspend or terminate access;
- Preserve limited relevant records; or
- Take other proportionate action.
Speakori may act immediately when it reasonably believes that conduct:
- Presents a security threat;
- Creates a credible risk of harm;
- Violates applicable law;
- Threatens another person’s rights;
- Exposes Speakori or its users to material risk; or
- Could compromise the Services.
When reasonably practicable and safe, Speakori may instead provide a warning, notice, or opportunity to correct the conduct. Serious violations, repeated misuse, security threats, fraud, unlawful conduct, or credible risks of harm may result in immediate restriction, suspension, or termination without prior warning.
If you believe Speakori acted in error, you may appeal by contacting security@speakori.com within 30 days after receiving notice of the action.
Your appeal should include:
- The email address associated with the account;
- A description of the action;
- Why you believe the action was mistaken; and
- Relevant information you want Speakori to consider.
Do not include passwords, full payment-card numbers, privileged client files, government identification numbers, or unnecessary sensitive information.
An appeal will be reviewed by a person with authority to uphold, modify, or reverse the action. Submitting an appeal does not automatically restore access or delay action needed to address a legal, security, safety, or fraud risk.
If an appeal succeeds, Speakori may correct its enforcement record, restore technically recoverable access or content, or provide another appropriate correction.
Speakori may retain limited records when reasonably necessary to investigate misuse, prevent repeated violations, resolve disputes, comply with law, protect the Services, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
If Speakori terminates an account for serious or repeated misuse, unused subscription time ordinarily will not be refunded, subject to applicable law, correction of mistakes, and any discretionary exception Speakori chooses to provide.
Speakori’s failure to enforce this Policy in one instance does not waive its right to enforce it in another. This Policy does not promise that Speakori will monitor, detect, or remove every violation or objectionable item.
11. Reporting Misuse
Report suspected misuse, unauthorized account access, security concerns, or an apparent enforcement error to:
Speakori LLC
Email: security@speakori.com
Do not include passwords, full payment-card numbers, API keys, client files, privileged communications, or unnecessary sensitive information in a report.
12. Changes to This Policy
Speakori may update this Policy to reflect changes to the Services, risks, business practices, or legal obligations.
If a change materially affects users’ rights or obligations, Speakori will provide notice as required by applicable law and the Terms & Conditions.
The “Last Updated” date at the top of this Policy identifies the current version.
