Subscription & Refunds
Subscription billing, automatic renewal, cancellation, access, and refund terms for Speakori.
Last Updated: July 15, 2026
This Subscription, Cancellation & Refund Policy explains the billing, automatic-renewal, cancellation, access, and refund terms that apply to monthly and annual subscriptions purchased directly from Speakori LLC (“Speakori,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). It forms part of Speakori’s Terms & Conditions.
1. Subscription Plans and Charges
Speakori offers monthly and annual subscription plans. Before you purchase a subscription, Speakori will display the selected plan, total price, billing frequency, included features, and any material limitations.
Monthly subscriptions are charged at the beginning of each monthly billing period. Annual subscriptions are charged in full at the beginning of each annual billing period.
Prices are stated in the currency displayed at checkout. Applicable sales, use, value-added, or similar taxes may be added where required by law.
2. Automatic Renewal
Paid subscriptions renew automatically until canceled.
Monthly subscriptions renew each month, and annual subscriptions renew each year. On each renewal date, Speakori’s payment processor will charge your payment method the price then applicable to your plan, plus any applicable taxes.
Before obtaining your billing information, Speakori will clearly disclose the subscription price, billing frequency, renewal terms, and cancellation method. By affirmatively accepting those terms and completing your purchase, you authorize Speakori and its payment processor to charge your selected payment method at the stated interval until you cancel.
Your Speakori account or the Stripe customer portal will display your next renewal date. To avoid the next charge, cancel no later than the calendar day before that date.
3. No Free Trial
Speakori does not currently offer a free trial.
4. Payment Processing
Speakori uses Stripe or another payment processor identified at checkout to process subscription payments. Speakori does not store complete payment-card numbers in its application database.
The payment processor receives and processes payment information on Speakori’s behalf and may handle that information according to its own privacy notice. Speakori remains the provider of your subscription and is responsible for administering the Speakori service. The payment processor does not independently determine whether you qualify for a cancellation, refund, or credit.
You are responsible for providing accurate billing information and keeping your payment method current.
5. Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time by:
- Using the subscription-management option in your Speakori account;
- Using the Stripe customer portal; or
- Emailing a clear cancellation request to billing@speakori.com.
If possible, send an email cancellation request from the address associated with your Speakori account.
An email cancellation request is submitted when Speakori receives it at billing@speakori.com. Speakori may request information reasonably necessary to authenticate the account and verify the request. Once verified, Speakori will treat the cancellation as effective when the request was originally received. Verification will not be used to obstruct or unnecessarily delay cancellation.
Cancellation stops your subscription from renewing for another billing period. To avoid the next charge, cancel no later than the calendar day before the renewal date displayed in your account or Stripe customer portal.
If a renewal charge has already been processed, cancellation will stop the following renewal. You will retain access for the period covered by the processed charge, subject to the refund terms below.
Speakori will not require you to call, speak with a representative, complete a survey, or accept a retention offer to cancel a subscription purchased online.
After your subscription is successfully canceled, Speakori will send a confirmation identifying the effective cancellation date and the date your paid access is expected to end.
6. Access After Cancellation
After cancellation, you will retain access to paid subscription features until the end of the billing period for which you have already paid.
Speakori may suspend or terminate access earlier where permitted under its Terms & Conditions, including in response to fraud, unlawful conduct, a material violation of those terms, or a material security risk.
At the end of the paid billing period, your subscription will not renew. Access to paid features will end or, if Speakori then offers an unpaid account option, be reduced to the features included with that option.
Canceling a subscription does not delete your Speakori account. Account-deletion requests are separate and are governed by Speakori’s Privacy Policy.
If Speakori permanently discontinues the subscribed service for reasons unrelated to your violation of the Terms & Conditions, you will receive a pro rata refund for the unused portion of any prepaid billing period. The refund will be based on the number of days remaining in the period when the service is discontinued.
With your agreement, Speakori may provide a substantially equivalent replacement service or account credit instead of a monetary refund.
7. Refunds
Except where required by law or expressly stated in this policy, subscription payments are final and nonrefundable.
Speakori does not ordinarily provide prorated refunds or credits for:
- Partially used billing periods;
- Periods during which you did not use the service;
- Accidental but validly authorized purchases;
- Failure to cancel before a clearly disclosed renewal deadline;
- Cancellation after a charge has been processed; or
- Unused features or educational content that remained available under the purchased plan.
These exclusions do not apply to:
- Duplicate or unauthorized charges;
- Billing errors;
- A verified failure of Speakori’s checkout or cancellation system;
- Permanent discontinuation of the subscribed service during a prepaid period;
- Speakori’s material failure to provide the purchased service; or
- A refund, credit, withdrawal right, or other remedy required by law.
Nothing in this policy limits any consumer right that cannot lawfully be waived.
Speakori may issue a refund or credit at its discretion. A discretionary refund or credit in one instance does not create an obligation to provide one in another. Speakori will seek to treat similarly situated customers consistently.
If you believe a charge resulted from a billing error, duplicate transaction, unauthorized transaction, or technical problem, contact billing@speakori.com and provide:
- The email address associated with your Speakori account;
- The date and amount of the charge; and
- A brief explanation of the issue.
Do not send complete payment-card numbers, security codes, passwords, API keys, or other sensitive credentials by email.
An approved refund will be issued to the original payment method. If the refund cannot be completed, contact billing@speakori.com so Speakori can investigate the failure and determine what lawful options are available.
Speakori will initiate approved refunds promptly. Refunds usually appear within 5–10 business days, although timing depends on the payment processor, financial institution, and payment method and may take longer.
8. Failed or Rejected Payments
If a payment is declined, expired, reversed, or otherwise unsuccessful, Speakori or its payment processor may try to process it again as permitted by law.
Speakori may notify you and provide an opportunity to update your payment information. While an amount remains unpaid, Speakori may suspend or limit access to paid features.
If payment cannot be completed, Speakori may cancel the subscription after providing any notice required by law. Suspension or cancellation for nonpayment will not, by itself, delete your Speakori account.
You remain responsible for validly authorized charges incurred before cancellation or suspension.
9. Purchase Confirmations and Renewal Notices
After your initial subscription purchase, Speakori will send a confirmation or receipt that you can retain. It will identify:
- The purchased plan;
- The amount charged;
- The billing frequency;
- The automatic-renewal terms;
- The next renewal date;
- The cancellation policy and deadline;
- The refund policy;
- A direct link or other accessible online method for managing or canceling the subscription; and
- The alternative email cancellation address, billing@speakori.com.
Speakori will also send a receipt or confirmation after each renewal charge.
After your subscription is successfully canceled, Speakori will send a confirmation identifying the effective cancellation date and the date your paid access is expected to end.
For annual subscriptions, Speakori will generally send an email reminder approximately 30 days before renewal, subject to any different timing required by law.
The annual reminder will identify:
- The subscription being renewed;
- The renewal price and billing frequency;
- The expected renewal date;
- The cancellation deadline;
- A direct link or other accessible online cancellation method; and
- The billing contact, billing@speakori.com.
Speakori will provide any other renewal or subscription notices required by law.
You are responsible for maintaining an email address capable of receiving account and billing notices. If a required email cannot be delivered, Speakori may also provide notice through your account or another legally permitted method.
Transactional messages necessary to administer a subscription, cancellation, refund, or billing dispute are separate from optional marketing communications. You may not opt out of transactional messages needed to complete those activities.
10. Price Changes
Speakori may change subscription prices from time to time. A price change will not affect an amount already paid for the current billing period.
Before an increased price applies to an existing subscription, Speakori will send a clear notice by email or another legally permitted method. Speakori generally intends to provide notice 30 days before the change takes effect, subject to any different timing required by law.
The notice will identify:
- Your current price;
- The new price;
- The date the new price will first apply;
- The affected billing frequency; and
- A direct link or other accessible online method for canceling before the new price applies.
Unless the law or the terms of your original offer require additional consent, your subscription will renew at the properly disclosed new price after the change takes effect. Speakori will obtain affirmative consent or provide additional cancellation rights where required.
If you do not want to continue at the new price, cancel before the deadline in the price-change notice. Cancellation will stop future renewal without ending access for a period you have already paid for, except where the Terms & Conditions permit earlier suspension or termination.
11. Promotional Pricing
Speakori may offer promotional or discounted pricing under terms disclosed with the offer.
Unless otherwise stated, promotional pricing applies only during the disclosed promotional period. Before you accept a promotion, Speakori will disclose:
- The promotional price;
- The duration of the promotion;
- Any eligibility restrictions;
- Whether the subscription renews automatically;
- The post-promotion price, if known; and
- How to cancel before the post-promotion charge.
When the promotion ends, the subscription will renew at the disclosed post-promotion price unless you cancel beforehand. Speakori will provide any reminder required by law.
Speakori may deny or revoke promotional pricing obtained through fraud, material misrepresentation, or violation of the disclosed promotional terms. Speakori will not impose an undisclosed retroactive price because a promotion is revoked.
12. Billing Communications
Speakori may send subscription-related communications to the email address associated with your account, including:
- Purchase and renewal receipts;
- Renewal reminders;
- Failed-payment notices;
- Price-change notices;
- Cancellation confirmations; and
- Responses to billing disputes or refund requests.
These are transactional communications concerning your purchase and are separate from optional marketing messages.
13. Billing Questions and Disputes
For questions about a charge, cancellation, refund, renewal, or subscription status, contact:
Speakori LLC
Email: billing@speakori.com
Include the email address associated with your Speakori account, the date and amount of the relevant charge, and a brief explanation of the issue.
Speakori may request additional information reasonably necessary to locate the transaction, authenticate the account, or investigate the issue. Speakori will not ask you to send a password, complete payment-card number, security code, API key, or other sensitive credential by email.
14. Changes to This Policy
Speakori may update this policy to reflect changes to its services, business practices, or legal obligations.
Changes will apply prospectively. If a change materially affects an existing subscription—including its price, renewal, cancellation, or refund terms—Speakori will provide the notice and obtain any consent required by law before the change takes effect.
The “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy identifies the current version.
15. Controlling Terms
This policy supplements Speakori’s Terms & Conditions.
The checkout page and purchase confirmation will identify transaction-specific details such as the selected plan, price, billing interval, renewal date, cancellation deadline, and applicable promotional terms.
Those transaction-specific details control the commercial terms of the selected plan or offer but do not reduce any protection provided by this policy or applicable law.
If this policy conflicts with a nonwaivable requirement of applicable law, that requirement will control.
