Pharmacy Counseling Spanish
Spanish practice forpharmacy counseling
Scenario-based practice for the language pharmaceutical professionals use at pickup.
Built for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other pharmaceutical professionals who communicate with Spanish-speaking patients in counseling contexts.
Practice covers
- Pickup conversations
- Label restatement without inventing a schedule
- Procedural explanations
- What the pharmacist can and cannot say at the counter
- Referring dose-change questions to the prescriber
- Institutional register paraphrasing
Example game: According to the label
Type: Role boundary
The learner restates what the label says. The game trains the professional boundary between counseling — repeating the written directions — and inventing a schedule or changing a prescribed regimen.
Tome según las indicaciones del médico.
- Restate the label — Repeat the written directions. Do not add a homemade schedule.
- Hold the regimen — A dose change is the prescriber’s decision, not a pickup rewrite.
- Refer the question — Send dose-change questions back to the prescriber.
